This suggested week alternates resort time with three distinct outings. Use it as a sequence rather than a fixed timetable: boat conditions, arrival times and your energy can change the order.
Days 1–3: coast, reefs and an easy evening
Settle into the hotel on day one. Dedicate day two to Ras Mohammed or Tiran, choosing one boat itinerary rather than booking both immediately. Keep day three for the beach and a walk in Naama Bay or Old Market. This gives you time to recover from travel and appreciate the area around your hotel.
Days 4–5: inland scenery and a pause
Choose a Dahab and canyon day or a shorter desert safari for day four. They have different transfer times and physical demands. Keep day five relatively open, with a resort morning and a SOHO evening if you wish. Avoid treating every free hour as a gap to fill with another excursion.
Days 6–7: your priority and departure
If mountain heritage is your priority, reserve a dedicated slot for Sinai and Saint Catherine and rest afterwards. Otherwise use day six for another beach or sea experience. Plan the final day around checkout and the flight; divers should arrange their complete diving and flying schedule with their dive centre.
Five days in Sharm: sea and desert
For five calendar days including arrival and departure, use this shorter sequence. Day 1: settle into the hotel, then take a short walk nearby if arrival allows. Day 2: choose one snorkelling boat trip, Ras Mohammed or Tiran, and keep dinner flexible. Day 3: enjoy the resort and visit Old Market or Naama Bay in the evening, with a return transfer arranged. Day 4: keep the morning free and choose a shorter afternoon desert outing; if your package includes dinner, do not book another meal elsewhere. Day 5: leave time for packing, checkout and the airport transfer. Exchange days 2 and 4 if boat arrangements or your energy require it. This plan does not include certified scuba diving; divers should agree the diving and flight schedule with their centre. If Cairo or Luxor is your main priority, replace an excursion day instead of adding it to this sequence, and reconsider the following morning.
