Keep the afternoon before departure quiet and prepare your walking kit early. Confirm pickup and the route with the organiser. Layered clothing, secure footwear and suitable lighting matter more than packing for a normal beach outing. Leave unnecessary items at the hotel.
Make the plan concrete
During the climb, follow the guide’s pace and do not separate from the group for photographs. Confirm whether the monastery is included after the descent and what access is expected. Reserve the following afternoon for rest; the return journey is part of a long night, not the beginning of another full excursion day.
